Our Vision and Mission

North Raleigh Church of Christ exists to be a caring, connected, and engaged community of Christ followers who love God and love others.

The journey as a disciple begins as we commit to “Know God.” This knowledge is far deeper than simply knowing “about” him or being able to recall facts from the words of Scripture. As we grow in our understanding of God, it follows to “Honor Jesus” with our personal life mission and purpose. As we grow in our appreciation of His great love and mercy, our relationship with God and his Son compels us to “Love Family” and instills a desire to “Serve All” as He opens our eyes to the needs and struggles of the world around us. None of these principles stand alone. North Raleigh Church of Christ believes that each of these principles will be seen in increasing measure over time as the Spirit continues to do his transforming work within our lives.

Hi! I am Kim Harrison and I have the wonderful opportunity to serve as the Secretary of North Raleigh Church of Christ. I have been employed by our church since 1999. I received my degree at Freed-Hardeman University where I met my husband, David Harrison. We have three adult children, a son-in-law, and three grandchildren. In my position as the church secretary, I love the different people I encounter and sharing the love of Christ with them. In our church, I serve with my sisters in Christ in our Ladies Ministry planning events and on our Communications Committee. I love the beach no matter the season, riding motorcycles in our beautiful Blue Ridge mountains and a good cup of coffee. My greatest love is in my Heavenly Father, enjoying his wonderful gifts, and spending time with family.
