Outreach Ministry

Outreach Ministry

We passionately believe that we need to express our love for God and each other by serving the community (Phil 2:3-5, Rom 12:9-18, Matt 28:18-20).  We should give and serve without expecting anything in return, strive to become living sacrifices, and bring the Good News to those around us in word and in deed.

We desire to become a better reflection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in every way, including in our service to all others.  We long to have the heart, mind, eyes, and hands of Christ.  We want to see and respond to the needs of others, both spiritually and physically, as he did.

We have committed to support various significant outreach partners both locally and globally.  We are thankful for the opportunity to be intimately involved with these groups:

Our fellowship has been blessed by a longstanding relationship with AGAPE of NC. We fully support their mission as an organization focused on Kingdom care for children and families in crisis.

Agape of NC is a church of Christ organization whose mission is to provide professional social services as a compassionate Christian outreach to children and families in need in order to strengthen families through counseling, foster care and adoption. Please consider volunteering or becoming a foster parent today!

Agape also always needs volunteers!  Please contact Kimberly Scott (kimberly.scott@northraleighchurch.org) if you can offer your hands and your time!

Located on 100 acres in Mocksville, NC, Carolina Bible Camp and Retreat Center is one of North Carolina’s most cherished outdoor camps.  CBC’s seven week-long Bible camps bring Christians together from across the southeast to glorify Jesus in worship and in community, making it the best part of summer year after year!

We feel blessed to have a long standing relationship with CBC.  Please contact Jack Harris (jack.harris@northraleighchurch.org) for more information about ways you can join in our service through Carolina Bible Camp.

Since 1961 Eastern European Mission (EEM) has been providing God’s Word to the people of Russia, Ukraine and Eastern Europe in their own languages. For many years EEM found ways to get the Bibles through The Iron Curtain. Then in 1989, God brought The Wall down. Now, EEM provides Bibles and Biblical literature in more than 20 languages to nations of the former Communist Bloc. These materials are provided to individuals, mission churches, campaign groups, schools and other organizations that teach God’s Word.

EEM also provides Biblical literature to families, children in youth camps, public universities, public schools, public libraries, prisons, hospitals, orphanages and anywhere else Bibles are needed… all free to the recipients.

We are so excited about the work God is doing through Eastern European Mission!

All year, we have the joy and privilege of serving children in our local community through the North Raleigh Church of Christ Preschool led by Director Elise McCullough (elise.mccullough@northraleighchurch.org)!

North Raleigh Ministries, located at 9650 Strickland Road, Suite 161, Raleigh, North Carolina, provides compassionate assistance to neighbors in crisis in a Christian environment.

We love partnering with this great ministry serving neighbors within a few miles of our building!

We are so thankful that God has given us a special relationship with the folks at the Raleigh Rescue Mission, and that He allows us to participate in some small way in their amazing ministry to some very special people.

Here are some specific ways our members can plug-in  to this ministry:

  • Bring donation items to fill the boxes in the hallway at the building each month (different list for each month).
  • Help prepare bagged lunches on the third Saturday every other month at 10am sharp at the building.
  • Help prepare a meal at the Raleigh Rescue Mission on the fourth Saturday every other month.
